SHENZHEN, February 24, 2011 — Broadcom, RDA Microelectronics, Analog Devices and Agilent Technologies were among the 13 winners of the China Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards 2011 presented at a gala event held today in conjunction with the 16thInternational IC-China Conference & Exhibition (IIC-China, http://www.english.iic-china.com), which is scheduled to run until February 26, 2011 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.

The China ACE Awards 2011 Company and People award winners by category are:

• Company of the Year– Broadcom
• China IC Design House of the Year– RDA Microelectronics
• Most Promising New Technology of the Year– ARM's Cortex-A15 MPCore Processor
• Executive of the Year– Xie Bing, President of Texas Instruments Operations for China
• Design Team of the Year– PA Research and Design Team of RDA Microelectronics
• Innovator of the Year – Zhao Lixin, CEO of GalaxyCore

Winners for company and people awards, except Innovator of the Year, were selected by a panel of industry experts including:

• Chen Zhang Long, Associate Director, Microcomputer Division (Embedded Systems) China Computer Federation
• Wei Shaojun, Professor, Institute of Microelectronics, TsinghuaUniversity
• Wu Wei, Chief Engineer of Color TV Division, Skyworth

A separate panel of senior industry analysts from eMedia Asia's EE Times-China, ESM-China and Electronic Design-China chose the Innovator of the Year.

• Editors' Choice–RK28 Multimedia SoC (Rockchip Electronics)

Winners for these product awards were voted by engineers in mainland China, while the Editors' Choice was picked by analysts at EE Times-China, ESM-China and Electronic Design-China.
