Global Sources forms Partnership with China's Trade Development Bureau to jointly organize six China Sourcing Fairs in Miami
HONG KONG, April 1, 2011 – Global Sources (NASDAQ: GSOL) has formed a partnership with China's Trade Development Bureau, the country's trade promotion arm under the Ministry of Commerce,to jointly organize six China Sourcing Fairs at the Miami Beach Convention Center July 11 - 13, 2011.
The sourcing trade shows are expected to showcase over 550 booths with China suppliers of electronics, gifts & premiums, home products, baby & children's products, fashion accessories and garments & textiles. Global Sources' Chairman and CEO, Merle A. Hinrichs, said: "South Florida is a key gateway for trade with both the U.S. and Latin America. Import-export trade through Miami reached a record US$93 billion in 2010 with Latin American countries accounting for nearly US$40 billion in total.
